About Barbara A. Paglia, Ph.D., Psychologist

My professional goal is to empower individuals and families to achieve their therapeutic goals in an atmosphere of empathy, safety, and understanding.

I began the private practice, Psychological Counseling and Consulting Services, in 1992. I am licensed as a psychologist in Pennsylvania and have been practicing for over 25 years. 

I have done extensive research in the areas of trauma and child sexual abuse, and received my Ph.D. in Psychology from Northcentral University. I received my M.A. degree from Slippery Rock University in Counseling Psychology. 

I specialize with trauma, child abuse, domestic violence, depression, anxiety, and psychological assessments. I'm a member of the American Psychological Association and the Pennsylvania Psychological Association.

I have trained in a number of therapeutic modalities of Cognitive-Behavior Therapy, Hypnotherapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy, and Family Therapy, which I have integrated into my counseling and psychological practice.

My professional and personal background has provided me with a vast amount of experience that has prepared me to work with clients of varying ages with a variety of difficulties such as:

About Gloria Schweitzer

Gloria Schweitzer is a licensed professional counselor who has provided therapeutic services over the past 10 years in the following settings: A Community Treatment Team; Family Outpatient Services; Art Therapy at a Fine Arts Institution; and an Inpatient Drug and Alcohol Residential Treatment Facility.

She has provided therapy to children, adolescents, adults and their families, helping them with anxiety and depression disorders, substance abuse, trauma, stress, and anger management. 

Gloria is skilled in group therapy and has facilitated drug and alcohol therapy groups, complicated grief therapy groups, and interpersonal therapy groups.

Her approach to therapy is genuine and reality-based, which includes cognitive behavioral therapy in combination with mindfulness and acceptance.

Gloria believes in a holistic approach, including mind, body and spirit, with the understanding that each individual has a meaning or purpose to their lives. 

She also incorporates Gestalt therapy methods in order to help clients to focus on and learn to enjoy the moment. Gloria is a native of the Pittsburgh area. 

She completed her undergraduate degree with a double major in Art and Psychology from Mercyhurst University and got her Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from Chatham University.

About Jessica A. Logue, 
Licensed Professional Counselor, M.A., LPC

I'm a master’s level therapist with advanced clinical training and 11+ years of experience in helping children, adolescents, and adults to safely process past and present trauma and / or stressors, recognize their strengths and potential, and develop solutions that are realistic and attainable. I provide a safe and therapeutic unbiased, non-judgmental environment for clients to discover the root to their symptoms and explore feelings and needs associated. 

My specialties include ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, anger management, anxiety, divorce, codependency, mood disorders, PTSD, abuse, Christian counseling, family coaching, eating disorders, parenting issues, school issues, stress, adjustment disorders, depression, intellectual disabilities, developmental delays, sensory processing disorder, Social Communication Disorder, marital issues, grief, loss, and women’s issues.

About Sherry Edinger,

I graduated from Mercer High School and earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Slippery Rock University. I then continued my education at Youngstown State University where I earned my Master of Science degree in Community Counseling. I am licensed in the state of Pennsylvania as a Professional Counselor and I am also a Nationally Certified Counselor. 

I have grown up here and raised my children in Mercer County, which has provided me with a strong sense of commitment to the people of this area and has enhanced my desire to work with and help them. I have much experience working with various counseling agencies throughout Mercer County and surrounding counties. I provide outpatient psychotherapy to people of all ages. My focus is on helping children, teens and families in the following areas:

My name is Sheila Wood and I'm a licensed professional counselor who works with ages 7 and up who are struggling with their emotions, behavior, relationships, marriages, or sense of self by using an eclectic therapeutic approach tailored to meet your unique needs. Life is not easy and does not always go as planned so I am committed to providing treatment that is always positively focused and encourages self-acceptance and making healthy choices physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

My professional experience includes working in the mental health field since 1999 in the form of mental health / drug and alcohol assessments, in-home individual and family therapy and private practice individual, marital and family therapy.
